John Dexter, PhD, Executive Director, Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary
 
Founded in 1967, the Heard, a private 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, consists of a 289 acre nature preserve and a natural science museum.  Executive Director John Dexter, a native Dallasite, is a graduate of the US Navy’s Nuclear Power Program and spent six years on active duty serving on East Coast fast attack submarines. After his honorable discharge, Dr. Dexter spent 20 years in executive leadership. Following his corporate career, Dr. Dexter spent seven years as a professor teaching graduate level business courses at the Sorrell College of Business at Troy University.

**Change of Meeting Location**
Beginning 4/24/24, our weekly club meetings will be held at Eldorado Country Club, the beautiful location that hosted McKinney Sunrise for many years prior to 2020. E.J. Wills has served us well during the past few years, however our growing club is in need of a larger meeting space. Eldorado Country Club is located at 
2604 Country Club Drive, McKinney
