Katharine Weaver is the Director of Philanthropy at ManeGait, where she builds community support for ManeGait’s mission of helping individuals move beyond their boundaries through the healing power of the horse. Prior to joining ManeGait, she spent a decade at the North Texas Food Bank in fundraising and leadership roles. Katharine grew up riding horses on her family’s farm, an experience that continues to inform her appreciation for the transformative connection between people, animals, and healing. Katharine is a wife of 11 years, proud mother to a four-year-old daughter, and devoted human to two rescue dogs.
